I painted a picture of the Earth as I was inspired by my love of space, I’m a real space fan. I want to be an Astronomer when I grow up. I’d love to know what life is like in space. I heard somewhere that there are more stars in our galaxy than there is grains of sand on every beach in the world.
Before I do my art I always think of an idea to paint, if you don’t know what to paint, just think of things that you really like and you can paint that. I like to be prepared at the start of my painting and I love to mix colours of paint.
To me, art is a fun way of expressing myself and I find it relaxing. Because my arms don’t bend so well I use my mouth to paint. I hold the paintbrush in my mouth and I use my teeth and tongue to move the brush around. I find it very easy to paint when you get the hang of it.
My advice for anyone who likes painting but may feel down about themselves, is not to worry, we are all different and we all paint in different ways, I paint with my mouth but you can also paint with your hand or even your foot. Don’t worry about what other people are saying, just be yourself when painting and have fun.
