16-18 Category • 2024This painting was inspored by a small model greek statue of a soldier. I especially liked the helmet of the soldier, and i got the idea to put it on a column by itself to highlight it. I then started to imagine it as a sort of ancient display, and i saw it as a sort of museum whose artefacts remain, but its ruins have been taken over by nature and time.
