I made a koi fish. I wanted to try something new. I had some cardboard, and I thought I could build something with it. I made a koi fish because I like them. I like koi fish as they are all different and have different spots and colours. I wanted to make my own koi that is different to any other koi. I built a skeleton out of cardboard and stuffed it and then put paper mâché over it. I haven’t done anything like it before. I think I could make it again and make it better. I like doing art as its fun. I like looking back at the art I have made and see how much I have improved. I feel concentrated when I do art. I like doing all kinds of art and I get ideas from my mind. I think of different ideas in my head and go for it. I have an idea in my head of what the piece will look like and if I am not close to it I keep going. When I finish a piece I feel good about it, like I have achieved something.
