I like to try different things when I’m making art. This time I chose to mix oil pastels and inks to create a colourful picture. I learned that when you draw with white or yellow pastels and cover with ink you can see hidden shapes underneath. I made lots of pictures like this and then I picked my favourite one to enter. I really enjoy painting as I can use my imagination and I never know how a painting is going to turn out. This one reminded me of the rain and I love rainbows.
