This is a picture of my mother, inspired by her love of nature , which she has passed on to me. I have chosen some of my favourite animals and plants in this picture along with my mother. In creating this picture I used several techniques. For my mother and the animals, I used watercolour pencils. For the flowers and leaves I cut out and coloured individual petal shapes and glued them together and onto the page. I drew the butterflies, coloured them with colouring pencils, cut them out and folded their wings and stuck them to the page.
