We are a group of 8 boys who have been ‘Making Our Mark’ with an artist in Residency Susie and our teacher Caroline, Aishling and SNAs, since April we have explored lots of mediums to find out what ones we like most, we have a explored colour, texture, sensory art, chalk board, pastels, Geli printing, stamping, feathers and ink; painting with our own homemade brushes made from feathers, leaves and twigs, which we went out to find on a walk in the forest near our school. We did some dancing while we did our art, colour mixing with paints sticks, painting with tissue paper and learning how our environment effects how we create by doing indoor and outside our classroom and how we have fun learning to work together on some of our projects as a collaboration. We learned about what we liked about art as much as what we didn’t like through using our imagination and experimentation. These are a selection of us having fun and find our creative voice.
