This piece is a portrait of Adrian incorporated into his favorite song, 'An Octopus's garden' by the Beatles. I transported Adrian into the world of the song by creating an imaginative composition of him as an Octopus's garden. Octopus's do have gardens, they gather sea debris and all sorts of shells and sea life, they then organize them to create an aesthetic display on the floor of the sea. I decided to make Adrian the garden within his portrait with an octopus placed upon his head, he is the crown jewel of the garden within the sea of netting that surrounds him and his friend.
