This artwork was based on sharks. I have loved sharks since i was a kid and in this art work i wanted to capture a child or young person’s wonder and Excitement when they see something they have loved and been fascinated in. The main focus of this artwork was the sharks and i wanted to show how majestic they are in my opinion. and to also show how gentle and playful they can even though they seem scary and big. The person i have painted Represents that childs wonder and excitement mentioned above,i have painted them with a shark plushie to show that kids tend to have things they love ore are Interested in close by in many forms such as clothes or in this case a plush. I have painted them happy as they watch the sharks swim by in the very blue waters of the aquarium They,which also symbolises the seperation between the human and wildlife world of the ocean,however It shows that both can co exist in peace ans happiness together in one place. For this painting i have also decided to embrace a bit of messiness in the bubbles to Represent the child like aspect of this artwork.
