Liam óg • 5 • Wexford

This pieces is based on one of my favourite beaches and my favourite book the great big book of irish wildlife by juanita Browne. I camped in bannow bay this summer and spent alot of time exploring the beach i wanted to paint all the amazing wildlife i saw in the rock pools (painted at the left hand side bottom of my canvas) and the birds around the sea and cliffs. The picture is of bannow bay strand, the Cliffs and the water the travels to bannow island strand. I painted and drew the picture all by myself and my mum helped me submit. I used a hard board canvas and drew my picture using pencils and painted using poster paints. I love nature and wanted to show ireland one of the most magical places in the world!
