This is a portrait of my baby cousin eoghan lying in the grass with a magical buttercup. When i first saw this picture of him, i imagined all the wonderful things he could see from that single flower. This inspired me to play with the idea of childlike wonder, how limitless it is, how hopeful it can be. I used lots of bright coloured markers to depict the scene he could be imagining. I feel this fits the theme of imagination because it depicts the most bold and brilliant imagination- that of a child.
