My art piece is my imagination coming out of a book. I love reading, and a lot of my imagination comes from books I’ve read, so I thought it was best to include it in my picture. Reading helps me imagine things, and the more I read, the bigger my imagination gets! The picture includes a combination of my favourite books. I chose these pictures because they stood out when I read the books. I chose these colours because they are bright and vibrant, just like my imagination. These images can provoke anyone’s mind because the possibilities are endless! Perhaps it’s a fairytale fantasy or maybe a pirate adventure. Each person can come up with their own creative narrative for the picture. I used watercolour paints, markers, crayons, and gel pens to create my painting. Reading helps me imagine things. And the more I read the bigger my imagination gets.
