My name is tara pelly and i'm 11 years old. this picture is a pencil sketch of my grandparents' cocker spaniel, dusty. i was inspired to draw dusty because I love her. she has a very long tongue that she likes to lick my face with. i used a photo for reference and i edited the photo to find the shapes i needed to sketch the outline of dusty's head, body, eyes, ears, nose and tongue in pencil. then i got a black marker and outlined it. i shaded the drawing With shading pencils. for the iris of her eye and nose i used grey alcohol markers and a white posca pen for the finishing details. I hope this picture shows Dusty's sassy personality!
