We had a loose concrete slab out in the back garden and my Mam asked if i could paint something on it keeping in mind the colour scheme with regard to features in the garden. The fencing around our garden is a light shade of lemon in colour. The playhouse and shed are natural shades of woodstain. Both the grass and swing are different shades of green. I have always liked Van Goghs 'Sunflowers ' so i thought it would be a good idea to paint my own version. I used acrylic paints 🎨 in my creation and also tried to capture Van Goghs impasto style as best i could. I gave as much definition to the flower petals as possible also, so that they might blend in with other colour schemesin the garden as previoisly mentioned
