i drew a mushroom because i enjoy looking at the bright colours, curved lines and spotted pattern of bright red mushrooms. i chose to draw the mushroom from under neath so that the frills of the mushroom would be visible to make and the texture noticable making the picture more visually interesting. ladybird on top on top introduces an insect of nature. i added several things in the background including grass, a cloud and a flower. i drew the sun in white by colouring the blue sky around it and slowly fading out to leave a blank circle. i did this because despite many illustrations depicting the sun as yellow, the sun is white in real life and you will often here scientists saying how sunlight is "white" light, made of all the colours of the rainbow. i made this drawing using a regular graphite pencil and colouring pencils, as they are the tools i enjoy working with.
