I made a batik of two flamingos, i drew out my design in a sketchbook and did a colour study,then drew it onto a bigger sheet of paper and traced it with marker before tracing onto cloth, using pins to put it onto a frame, once i had it all mapped out i waxed my white areas before putting on the dye and repeated the process of waxing and dyeing until it was all waxed, then i did a crackle and dipped it in purple dye, when that was finished i ironed off the wax and put my batik onto backing.
