This is an oil pastel drawing of a teenage girl reminiscing on all of her memories in this field from playing wildly in the grass with her friends to now when she is older, star gazing and thinking back to when she wasn't one bit worried about the state of the world. This piece is about how we change throughout life but have one spot (often in nature) that we always come back to, to center ourselves or think back on our younger years. This piece is meant to represent the importance of nature in a person's life from a young age up to when they need a safe space to focus on themselves.
