The sea creatures surrounding her represent thoughts, emotions, and imagination, suggesting that the mind is as deep and mysterious as the ocean. I combined realism in the figure with dreamlike, flowing elements to create a calm but thoughtful mood. I used acrylic paint for her skin and background, colouring pencil for detail and shading, and oil pastels to add softness and texture, especially in the water and jellyfish.
