For My Art Piece, I Decided To Create A Hour Glass Image With The Top Part Being A Beautiful View Of A Scenic Atmosphere, Where I Used Different Shades Of Orange And Yellow To Create A Eventide Sky. I Used Multiple Types Of Greens From Dark To Light, But Then Added A Cover Of Snow On The Mountain To Try Create The Image Brighter. I Then Used Pencil To Create The Bottom Part Of My Piece Which Is A Dull Picture Of Factories With Smokestacks And Rigid Structures Destroying The Beauty Of The Earth Due To There Greenhouse Gases. The Whole Idea Behind The Design Was To Try Show How We Are Limited To Time, Like The Hour Glass Resembling How Much Time We Could Have Left If We Don’t Try And Change The Way We Do Things To Help The World. Two People That Influenced My Artwork Was Edward Burtynsky Due To His Photographical Images Capturing Industrial Impact, From Oil Fields To Mining Operations And Albert Bierstadt Due To His Deep Atmospherical Scene Of Artwork. I Was Really Happy How My Piece Came Out And Enjoyed The Whole Process.
