My artwork is called "In Bloom" because there is a huge flower in the centre of my painting. I made it using lots of different coloured paints. To start, my 3 year old cousin helped me paint many layers of colour and we used handprints. When I was happy with the layers of colours, after adding different colours and shapes over several weeks, When the painting was dry, I outlined all the big shapes with Posca pens, and lots of interesting shapes appeared. I could see aliens, apples, handprints, a boat on a wave, pizza slices, and then a huge flower bloomed! I used black and white Posca pens to add dots, shapes, and patterns, and I also used some chalk pastels. I love the colours I used, especially purple.
