My father works in our local shopping centre and he brought me home interesting materials that he found in the recycling bin. For the base of my model, I used a foam board as it is light and easy to shape. I used PVA and hot glue to fix all the parts together. I painted the model using oil pastels and acrylic paint to make it colourful and realistic. My model includes mountain and a small rural cabin to show the beauty and simplicity of life lived in nature. I created a river using blue slime to look like real water. I also used small stones and gravel for the ground. Around the model, I added trees, branches, and small animal figures to make it look like a forest. I got my inspiration from my experience of nature and images of the countryside. This project helped me to appreciate just how beautiful nature is and why we should take care of it.
