I used wax pastels to draw the face of one of my favourite owls. I picked the colours because they are known as the cold colours and I made it in winter. It took me about two days to finish it up. I drew the eyes and the beak because I wanted the owl to look at anyone looking at the picture. I live near a forest and there are owls and other animals there. I love owls because they are nocturnal and they can move their heads in a 360 motion. At least barn owls can do that. I would love to have an owl as a pet, but wild animals should be free in nature. I can just walk to the forest and imagine they are looking at me from a tree.
