16-18 Category • 2026My artwork is an underwater display representing the beauty of sea life, yet also bringing a Realistic aspect of pollution and how it is impacting the climate including sea life. I aimed to capture this vibrant display by using a range of mixed media, including watercolour, colouring pencils and markers. By adding finer and more intricate details I aimed to bring my art work to life by capturing natures beauty. Referring to the realistic aspect of my work, I decided to add large tonal pieces onto the underwater display, showing the underlying destruction of the ocean from pollution which is heavily and Negativity impacting sea creatures, which I display onto my piece by adding a 3D element of plastic to show its effect.
