I painted a snap shot image of the waves and sand at the beach and some of the things I have found on my trips to the beach. A mixture of modelling paste, sugar and salt was used to create the sand texture and waves. I then added pebbles, shells and sea glass with elmers glue to a canvas. Nature means the outside world to me and the beach is one of my favourite places to be outside, as well as a football field. I was inspired by all the trips to different beaches with my family. I love the beach and have many happy memories of the sea and the sand, like collecting sea shells, pebbles and playing football and hurling on the beach.
