12-15 Category • 2026In the morning, golden threads-yellow paint strips flowing from the sun-and silver beads-blue Posca marks representing water droplets-nourish a dead tree trunk, bringing new life. Everything exists in harmony, just as the sun and water work together to support the seedling at the heart of the painting. I have brought the sun and water to life to further emphasise this sense of balance and connection. The background is decorated with colourful strips layered with white patterns, each strip carrying its own unique meaning. This artwork is created using mixed media, including Posca, paint, and coloured pencils. What I aim to convey through this piece is the strength of nature. No matter the challenges it faces, nature always finds a way to endure and thrive with resilience. This quality is something humans recognise as a true treasure-one that cannot be bought with money. Therefore, this artwork represents nature not in a literal sense, but through the values it embodies.
