Commendation

This is a portrait of my younger sister Elaine. I made this painting to highlight how many young people, especially children, are restricted on doing things that people of their age would normally do, due to this pandemic. Her content, unaware expression shows how many children are not aware of all the fun things they will/have missed out on, because this is normal to them now. The yellow sign and blotches are hidden in the background to represent all the missed opportunities flying past.
