Commendation

My piece is based on my neighbour who has a lovely smile. Every time I see his face I get inspired to paint it and now I have finally got the opportunity. His face is full of colour in the picture because every time anyone sees his face it brings colour into their lives. I chose this colour palette for a very particular reason. These colours are included in his native flag. I wanted to add them into the painting to represent his culture and heritage. I am very proud of this piece and I hope it has made you feel JOYFUL.
