12-15 Category • 2025Hi! I'm Nicole and this is my art. It is a field of mushrooms of all colours and shapes-2 of them are poisoned, can you guess which ones? Mushrooms aren't perfect and are all different. The mushrooms are made out of cardboard and are of watercolour paint and colour pencils. I have hot glue-gunned beads on the mushrooms and for the last touch I added details with the hot glue-gun. This piece of art took 6 hours to make - I stayed up until 3AM!I put a lot of effort into it! My art is about that mushrooms are beautiful (nature itself is!) and people shouldn't be stepping on them or picking them just to eat. If everyone picks all the mushrooms, flowers, plants, cut down all the trees, kill all the insects, animals and that sort, then artists won't have a primary source and artists will get to the point of using AI. My art teacher inspired me to produce this piece of art. Zhu-Zi (Angela) explains deeply about art, not just about how to draw, but about that our environment takes a big part in art. You could find something off the internet and draw it but to create a masterpiece you will have to have a primary source.
