12-15 Category • 2025This artwork was inspired by the idea that nature doesn’t last forever and needs to be protected. The picture shows how fragile the environment can be by including lots of different biomes and the animals that live in them. A day-and-night layout was used so more creatures and colours could be added, making the whole scene feel more varied and interesting. Simple materials were used to create the artwork: a pencil for sketching, an eraser for corrections, colouring pencils for adding detail, and an A3 sheet of paper to fit everything in. The goal of the artwork is to remind people to appreciate nature and look after it while it’s still here.
