The fish jumps up out of the water because it is curious and wants to see what is above the surface. I wanted to show a fun moment in nature when something surprising happens. In my picture, the fish is in the air while jumping over the water. There is a big splash underneath it because the fish jumped really fast. I made the water look wavy to show movement. The fish looks happy because it likes going on adventures. I think the fish is brave because it is not scared to try something new, even though it lives in the water. The water is very important in my artwork because that is where the fish lives. Water is part of nature and helps animals survive. I wanted the water to look calm but also splashy at the same time. This shows that nature can be peaceful and exciting. The fish will go back into the water after it jumps, because that is its home. I like fish and water animals, so I chose to draw a fish. Fish are interesting because they swim all the time, but sometimes they jump. When the fish jumps, it gets to see the sky and feel the air. I think that would feel really cool for a fish. The sky in my picture shows how big the world is, and how small animals can still have big adventures. My artwork shows nature because it is about an animal doing something it does in the wild. Animals explore their environment just like people do. The fish is not hurting nature, it is just being part of it. Nature is full of living things that move, jump, swim, and explore every day. I want people to feel happy when they look at my artwork. I hope it makes them think about animals and how fun nature can be. "Fish on an Adventure" shows that even a small fish can have a big and exciting moment in nature.
