8-11 Category • 2025My painting “Nature is in the Air” is made with acrylic paint on paper. It took me 3 lessons at my local art school to finish it. I used a picture of me and my brother for the people in the painting, I also drew our dog, and I imagined the forest in the background all by myself. The forest is inspired by the woods near my grandad’s house in Kerry, Ballyseedy Woods. I wanted to show how it feels to be surrounded by nature and how peaceful it can be. My brother, our dog and I having the best day ever in this painting.
