This artwork was made for a project in my home economics class, where we were asked to create a piece using textile materials instead of traditional art supplies. I used wool and needle felting techniques to create this image During the making of this project, I used wool from the school as to not waste any materials, the equipment to make this was also provided to me from the school leading to no waste. The project took a week to complete, including its write up. The image is supposed to represent a sunset and trees to the left and right, I chose this as I really liked the way the sunset changes the colour of the sky and the way the sun reflects on the water, the palm trees represent the beach which is a place I visited often when I was young its supposed to represent a calming feeling
