I made this picture using watercolours, coloured pencils, construction paper, paint, and sparkly gems. On the right side, the dark forest shows nature that has been damaged. Little figures are working hard with tools to pick up rubbish and cut down dead trees, and the sea is polluted too. On the left side, it’s what nature looks like after we clean it up: there’s a clear sea with beautiful coral, and all the animals like deer, rabbits, a butterfly, and a squirrel have come back. I glued the sparkly gems onto the butterfly one by one, and the roses are folded from coloured paper to make the picture look more 3D. What I want to show is that if we take good care of nature and clear away the things that harm it, it will become full of life again, with pretty flowers and cute animals everywhere.
