Group Category • 2026What inspired us to create this piece of artwork was our shared love of the ocean. We figured this topic ws intriguing because the beautiful sea life beneath the deep sea. We used pencils, sharpies, green and blue watercolours, ohuhu markers, white posca, glitter markers, fine liners, white gel pen, A3 paper, paint brushes. First we drew a light sketch, then we used fineliners and sharpiesfor the octopus. Afterwards, we used the markers for seaweed, the girl and the school of fist. After that, we got the water colours and painted the sky, grass and ocean. Finally, we added the finishing touches by adding white gel pen to the highlighted areas. we also used the white posca for the clouds and smudged it with my finger to create a blurring effect. we really enjoyed making it, we love it so much and hope you do too.
