16-18 Category • 2026I created a Monoprint of pink lilies with more lilies painted on with acrylic dark paint, The monoprinted lilies are a brighter pink as it shows the beauty of the flower while the darker painted lilies intend death but it still signals a sign of peace and purity, this gives a connection between life and death which is the biggest part of nature. For the monoprint I painted on a glass sheet then when finished, place a piece of paper over and rolled it on with a roller, this creates unique textures and design that are hard to create with the human hand, I used light faded colours making emphasis on the monoprinted flowers and dark colours for emphasis on the acrylic flowers.
