The painting shows the northern lights above rugged brown hills in a dramatic night sky, where sweeping strokes of green, yellow, blue, and red surge like an aurora across a deep, star-speckled backdrop; the bold, expressive brushstrokes and rich contrasts create a mystical, landscape filled with movement, energy, and quiet intensity. I got the inspiration for this painting from an image on my fridge. I redesigned the landscape And lights to make the painting my own - along with creativity! I love how the colours are bright and vibrant and how they blend together. I used paint and watercolour. I added details such as the stars and the glare of the water towards the end, blending in watercolour paint with my fingers.
