The Theme Was Growing Identities. the material used was Stoneware clay and it will be glazed. Inspiration was to Incorporate natural Elements with Portraiture to create a plant pot head. We learned how to sculpt eyes and nose out of clay which we attached to the clay pot. The technique I used was rolling out a slab, coil building on a banding wheel and smoothing it down with a kidney. Then I added on the face, eyes and nose. I smoothed everything to make it look better. My favourite part was working with clay for the first time and getting to plant something in later this year
