This is my art piece. The reason I painted this is because I was on a beautiful walk in the forest and I saw a waterfall. The sun's rays were shining down on the water. I added sun rays because it was summer when I went on that walk. There are little butterflies on the painting that are inspired by some pure white butterflies flying around. It looked so magical, I just had to add them into the painting.I painted this picture with faber castell acrylic paint. I made sure to incorporate the exact colours in the picture, so it would look accurate. I think I did a pretty good job on accomplishing that. At the edge of the painting there are some darker blues that is actually the stream that the waterfall was flowing into, it was flowing in sort of a semi circle type shape or like a twisty river. The trees were really big in that area. I wish I had made them a tiny bit bigger, but I am happy with the result and I think if I painted bigger trees I wouldn't have been able to incorporate the waterfall and the river. I am happy with the result and I hope you are too.
