I was inspired by how mysterious, quiet and silent the trees look. there is something foreboding and comforting at the same time i have always thought about looking into a dark forest. I want my artwork to Represent the complexity of nature and variety of plants in the forest that often get overlooked and how each twig or branch is Individual. I think there is something so special about the vast amounts of branches that are entwined together, much like us humans on this planet. Nature can be something we could view as a threat or be scared by like i always was looking into this forest as a child. But in reality it is entirely comforting and what we are meant to reside in. I painted layers of thin branches over Each-other, adding a bright green to the moss on the branches Which was almost glowing in the dim light.
