My painting is of a blue tit. I chose this because I love birdwatching and love the colours of this bird. I used pencils to capture the vibrant colours of the blue tit. For the background I used watercolours to represent the soft colours of nature in the rain. I used tissue paper to create a rough texture on the branch the bird sits on.
