Hello, my name is Shonagh Hughes, I turned 13 years old on the 9th of January. I love art its my “go to thing to relax, I am my happiest when I’m sitting at my kitchen table the radio playing and my garden in front of me and as I sat to get started on this picture our garden robin was playing in our garden as usual. She is my inspiration for this picture. We feel as a family that she is our Nanny coming to keep us company and mind us, she comes so close its like she is going to come through the back door. She flies so quickly up to a little bird box that we have between our trees, our garden is her home. Her colouring is so beautiful that she almost blends into the bushes and the trees.
