My art piece is themed on a tree that is in all seasons. As you can see my art piece page is split into quarters. Each quarter is a season spring, summer, autumn and winter. In these quarters I have put the weather, animals and leaf colours I see when I imagine a tree in each season. In spring, I have made it raining with a lamb jumping in the air and a bluebird sitting on a branch with eggs in its nest below it, with green leaves on this quarter of the tree. In summer, I have made it sunny with a dog sitting on the grass and three bluebirds on the branches with green leaves in this quarter of the tree. In autumn, I have made it windy with no animals and red, orange and yellow leaves in this quarter of the tree. In winter, I have made it snowing with a robin sitting on a branch and instead of leaves in this quarter of the tree I have put snow. I have used colouring pencils and a black gel pen to create this art piece. I used these materials because I love using colouring pencils I think that it really makes the art work pop out with colour and a black gel pen because it makes the colour from the colouring pencils more vibrant from the dark colour of gel pen ,that I have used to outline stuff from the piece. I was inspired to draw this piece because when I heard the theme was nature the first thing that came to my mind was a tree so I started to draw a tree, but while I was drawing the tree I thought of something else, a tree split in quarters with a season inside each quarter so that’s what I did.
