My art piece, and how it connects with nature, is to show how it's in our nature as humans to find other creatures fascinating, and our curiosity that is drawn to nature. The girl in the drawing is looking at a butterfly in awe. Nature, if i can simply put, is beautiful. The butterfly symbolises the want of the girl to have wings, so it can be free and fly high in the sky, despite being bigger, and having the light shine on her as she is in the spotlight. It's just how the saying goes - "A butterfly can't see its own wings and how beautiful they are" - So, as humans, we are in admiration of the things we can never reach. When something is in our hold, we never seem to appreciate it.
