This piece Represents the seasons of winter and spring. Winter is moody, mean and cold but spring is happy, lovely and kind. Spring is happy because she is a time of birth and regrowth. As you can see, winter’s side is bigger because it symbolises january. It’s cold but you can see a bit of warmth coming your way! I made this art piece out if clay, cardboard, felt and paper. I got my inspiration while looking out my window and i thought “it’s a lot warmer than last week … but it’s still so cold” After that my mom told me about rte’s ‘this is art’ competition. When i heard that the theme is nature i decided that i would do something to do with winter and spring. but then i wanted to do something with tree fairies. I wanted to do both of my ideas…..Suddenly i had a thought…. What if i do a winter and a spring fairy … so i got to work and made this…. I hope you like it!!
