This picture is of a stormy night on the sea just as the moon is coming up. My inspiration is that we go to mayo every year with my whole family and we spend most of our days and nights at the beach. The beach makes me feel happy like my safe space. I used acrylic paint to give it texture. I used deep blues and greens and teal and some black to achieve the stormy look and to show that nature isn’t always bright and colourful but is still beautiful.
