Hello! My name is Aminah Syeda and for the theme “This is nature” I made a painting that represents my idea of nature. The title of my artwork is “Mother nature’s creations are always colourful” because I find every type of natural environment beautiful and unique. Unfortunately in the last years natural environments have been changed a lot because of the building of cities, as you can see in my painting. This painting represents a boy that lives in a polluted city blowing “soap bubbles”, with the dream of being able to live in a more natural environment. In fact he hopes that someday he’ll be able to live in a mountain town. The only colourful part of this artwork is just the one representing the environment in which the boy wants to live, this refers to the title I chose for it. I mainly used a black pencil and a gray marker to make half of the drawing representing the polluted city while I used paint for the mountains. There are many different natural environments but my favourites are in fact mountainous ones.
