This is a drawing of a leaf drawn in all its shades throughout the four seasons of the year. I used the leaf printing method to get a copy of the leaf. Then, I rubbed hard graphite on the back of the leaf printed paper and put it against a new piece of paper. I then pressed along the leaf veins to carbon copy it on the new piece of paper. This left me with the leaf imprint which I then coloured with pastels. I used shades of yellow and red for autumn, light and dark brown for winter, turquoise and light green for spring, and green and yellow for summer.
