I got inspired by the environment I get to see around me everyday. The squirrels from early morning walks as well as the woods nearby my home. The stars thatI see when I get home late from school, to the blossoms I see in spring. I used oil paint on a canvas and just did what looked right. Using slightly stiff paintbrushes and linseed oil to blend. To me the pink blossoms mean the change that happens year by year. The red squirrel still existing despite the invasive grey squirrel wiping most of the population. The flowers coming from the robot, the place of the heart and mind. The stars being the dreams of people that live here day by day. The robot is rusted but its still there. In summary we persist everyday, with obstacles that we overcome, to the dreams we want to fulfill.
