Oscar made this piece by weaving wool on a rigid heddle loom. He loaded the shuttle and wove on the warped loom until he had reached the end, then he cut and tied off the ends. He was inspired to create this piece because of spending a lot of time on the beach at low tide. He loves all the different seaweeds he sees and wanted to create a seaweed themed pillow to lay his head on at night! Oscar loves weaving, he finds it's relaxing and fun.
