Located in the bottom right corner, a desert scene takes place along with two domestic camels tracking across the Sahara towards a colony of coral silhouettes. I used color effectively to split the background into contrasting atmospheres: a cool, blue night sky on the left with a moon, and a warm, orange-hued sunset on the right. This highlights the duality of time and environment within the single frame. I chose all of the elements and scenes in my art piece to show the connections between all areas and creatures of nature.
