His work often looks still and gentle, and that helped me think about slowing down and really looking at small details in nature. I wanted my sculpture to feel calm too, even though it is full of tiny life. I love exploring forest floors and looking closely at what lives there. When you stop and look, you start to notice bugs, mushrooms, and small plants that are usually missed. Ladybirds crawling over leaves, mushrooms growing after rain, and tiny insects hiding in the soil all feel like part of a secret world. Being in the forest makes me feel relaxed and curious at the same time.
